Superb Estate Delivery Time from Order

Live Chat told me week 46 or47 with dealer but no other info available. How do you get more detail?

The 1.5 TSi seems to have received WLTP approval last week. My car is now in Emden, but no-one (dealer or Skoda UK) has any idea how cars get allocated to ships or how long it might be there for.

It unfortunately seems to be a bit of a lottery in that respect. Could be days or a couple of weeks. Either way, not too much longer to wait :biggrin:

Skoda has finally appeared as an option on our company car list and I'm hoping to order either a Superb Estate (looks amazing but concerned re length for city centre on street parking) or the Octavia estate.

The problem is I want to order a Manual diesel (we're not allowed petrol) in the L+K variant.

So far, everytime I select the L+K variants, the next page on the company ordering system is blank and that's apparently because these particular models don't have WLTP values yet.

I've seen some people are starting to get their cars and a post including the Norwegian data sheets for other models so wondered if anyone knows when the testing is likely to be done. I did try asking Skoda UK but got the expected useless response.

Just to close off my contribution to this thread, I took delivery of the car this week. :)

This was after it spent 10 days in Sheerness and a week on the dealer's forecourt while he waited for Skoda UK to load the spec onto their finance systems (without which he was unable to generate the necessary PCP paperwork!).

Enjoy. Still waiting for my L&K. Now expected mid Dec.....

STILL waiting for the L+k Manual transmission to be rated so that I can purchase through the company car scheme.

Does anyone have any idea at all what the schedule is for the specific models to pass WLTP?

It's likely that it's now 'locked' due to it's status code.  I believe status code '20' is when no changes can be made to the order as the car is in the queue for production BUT your dealer can contact the factory to request a change as I think there's a period of 7-10 days between the status change and when production of your car will begin.  When I made a similar request with my Superb I was told that it really does depend on what the change is and where my car was in the build queue, it had just been allocated a build week so I guess I was lucky and got my request in early enough (IIRC I was 'only' adding heated washer nozzles)

Codes:

00 = Without Production Week
10 = With Production Week
20 = With Production Order
30 = In Transit From Factory
36 = In Port of Exit not Released
38 = In Port of Exit Released
39 = Vehicle Shipped
40 = UK Port
60 = In Transit to Dealer
70 = At Dealer

I was in touch with my dealer recently and advised it was in production at week 51? I was advised to expect it end of next week or week after all going well. How long from production to delivery usually?

I was told production takes 3 weeks with another week for delivery. Mine due to be built next week can’t wait!

Hi AdaminskiIreland here and awaiting delivery from build week 51 also. Have you had any update from your dealer as to when to expect it?

No update yet, I've heard there is a strike in Emden affecting all shipments

If you want to get down into the specifics of it, you can track the boats leaving Emden Port using this website: https://www.myshiptracking.com/ports-arrivals-departures/?pid=156

Most of the vehicle carriers have "Highway" in their name. I remember there used to be dedicated posts to ship tracking on these forums a few years back when I was waiting for my last car.

the downside of this is that it can really wreak your head! :D
