Tyres again

Featured Replies

I did mention on another thread that on my last MOT they said my front outer edge of tyre is on limit, they suggested getting the tracking checked which I done this morning. They put two new Bridgestone on and said the tracking did not need attention . They then said perhaps I should get the camber checked. Phoned people who do that and they replied its the power steering and not camber which causes the uneven wear.Any comments ?.

Yes I accept that in heavier cars you will get some outside wear on tyres , but it should not be significant. Especially if its just on one tyre and not both. I would suggest a full Geo check at a reputable specialist, not easy I know but ask around in your area or on this forum.

I'd go for a full geo check as well - out of curiosity what were the old tyres.
