By way of explanation, allow me to explain the "GKodi" username. 2 weeks ago I bought a brand new (registered August this year as a demo) Meteor Grey SEL Karoq. As some of you may know, "Kodi" is the name of a Skoda promotional bear which really belongs to the Kodiaq. Whilst trying to wrangle some goodwill out of the dealership (having searched the 'net for a month and driving over 200 miles to purchase the Karoq in the colour I wanted, not wanting to wait for up to 6 months to have one custom-built!), but not getting anywhere, lovely girlfriend managed to get a freebie, Kodi. So the bear called Kodi now belongs to and sits in the car named Kodi! Happy to be here and looking forward to exchanging chats as I'm keen to add "detail" to my motor by way of accessories, in particular, some black alloys (a l-o-o-o-o-o-ng story!). So far, over 6 days of driving since purchase, I've clocked up around 1,000 miles of very enjoyable motoring. And here's something some of you might relate to - on the very first motorway cruise, I picked up a stone-chip and tiny dent right next to the badge on the bonnet : ( Currently asking my local (Bristol) Skoda dealer to see if it can be fixed without having to have the entire bonnet re-painted, something which I was told would be necessary by one of many so-called "we-can-fix-anything-if-it's-just-a-small-dent-without-having-to-re-paint-entire-panels" experts (it's less than an inch long and about an 1/8th of an inch wide).
