I’m basically just curious on a few things this is my 3rd fabia now getting quite familiar with the cars. What I am wondering is that, I have saw a fair few people have replaced the aerial base on the Fabia I was wondering if it’s just a hole in the roof when removed as I would like to remove completely and smooth off the hole.

I'm struggling to imagine what it could be other than "just a hole in the roof".

There does seem to be a blanking part available. Anything more stealthy would probably take more work/labour than the car is worth.
