As title, followed instructions that i could find, had the correct locking tools in place but now runs like crap and has knocking noise.

 

New belt, tensioner, idler, water pump.

 

followed instuctions on the tensioner guide in box,

 

i couldn't find much info on this engine, 6 valve 3 cylinder with unknown to me mechanical electrical fuel injection system?

 

I see there is an adjustment that can be made to the injector side, haven't touched that but is this something needs adjusting?

 

i have a haynes manual coming but it wont be here for a couple of days.

 

Any ideas?

Sorted it. Will update asap with solution
