Featured Replies

Hi guys

I have a problem with a vacuum pipe on a Fabia 2003 1.2 mpi engine fitted to 2005 Fabia htp

This pipe is almost closed when engine is running, what is the cause of this?

I had a lot of problems so far with this engine change, hopefully this is the last lol,o other wise engine running ok

Vacuum pipe collapsing under vacuum?  Obviously the pipe is past its use by date and needs changing.

Hi everyone, Another few problems with my 2005 Fabia 1.2 htp, I need to get ideas on,firstly Speedo clock not working, I have changed these clocks from a 2003 Fabia 1.3 mpi to be refitted in 2005 Fabia htp, reason been immobiliser match to key chip.

What sends signal to clocks? There is a plug free close to crank sensor, there is a blank plug at the gearbox where Speedo are usually connected, any ideas guys?

Also any easy way to get radio code, besides going to dealer, have tried internet most of these require a payment ,dont have the code written in manual or anyplace on car.

Any ideas wud be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The ABS module, in cars that have ABS. Did the 2003 car maybe not have ABS?

I guess you meant a 2003 1.2 or 1.4 mpi was the donor of the clocks? As far as I know there was never a 1.3 Fabia?

I've just suggested to the moderators that this thread be moved to the MK1 Fabia section, because it doesn't seem to have any relation to the MKiii.

This was a 1.2 mpi 2003 Fabia, the clocks are from.

I will check on the 2003 Fabia for abs . Thanks Wino.
