Hi all, I was a member on here many moons ago with my modified Fabia 100bhp. I think my username was craig0031 but I've changed email since then and can't get back in.

 

I've just brought a 2015 Octavia in black 2.0 elegance dsg, I pick it up next Thursday. I can't wait, the gear box is out of this world.

 

Since my Fabia I've had - 

 

1.8 petrol astra H automatic

1.4 petrol Corsa D manual 

2.0 diesel insignia 59 plate 160bhp

 

I look forward to becoming an active member again.

Thanks for the welcome. Is there anything I need to know about the new car, the dealership seem pretty good, they have it booked for a full service and gear box oil change before I pick it up (apparently due at 40k but they will do it earlier for me)

 

I did notice the leather steering wheel was a bit grubby, I've asked them to clean it but if it's not up to scratch any suggestions?

Well back  to Skoda. Had my Octavia for 18 months and it is all the car Id ever need. Impressive all round package and so much better value than a Golf.
