VCDS required

Featured Replies

Is there anyone available or around the Midlands with VCDS capability? There are a few things I would like activating on my FL vrs. I am in Nottingham.

@trundlenut your name pops up as a vcds owner in Nottingham, this still the case?

@wg100 is a wizard with the VCDS not sure how close he is to Nottingham though.

Turn everything on I needed & on a FL too which is a different story to previous models

I will drop @wg100 a pm. Thanks for the heads up.

Out of interest, @themanwithnoaim which mods did you have done? Is the Audi throttle mod still available on a facelift DSG?

Yep Will did the throttle mod though I have the DTUK Pedalbox so, I'm not that sure how well it works.

Also did the Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, increased traction mode for the e-diff & some other bits I forget. Problem is, once you've got these bits you forget they weren't standard & just assume everyone has them.

Yeah that's the problem, I had some of them done on my last car and now I miss them. HBA especially as I thought it worked really well! And the Audi throttle mod

Hello, yes I can help you, I'll drop you a PM.

Fan speed display in Auto, teardrop wipes, passenger mirror dip in reverse & HBA permanently on, which is important.

I found HBA far less reliable than my eyes and left hand. But of a party trick in its current iteration for me. I turned it off but left the option enabled none the less.

Permanently on?

Yeah, it's always enabled from starting the car

Quick question.
I’m in Nottingham and would love to unlock the features on my mk3 vrs octavia.
what would this do to the warranty?

Nothing. It's all good. My dealer is just more interested in things I end up enabling
