So new gates gone in at work.

Ring gates from phone hey presto they open

Ring gates from car,shortcut on screen they don't.

Voice dial from car nope.

Ring from car through menus no.

Ring from car by any means no.

Deleted entire phone book from car and reloaded nope.

Deleted and repaired phone ditto.

Changed phone number to include country prefix nah.

It's the only car in the place that this happens with.

Any ideas learned people ?

Turn Bluetooth off and call again lol?

 

On a serious note, is it an iPhone? I had a few issues a few months back with the like and it was sorted in the call/contacts setting on my phone.

I've since discovered that the MD'S Audi A7 does the exact same thing,I'm pretty confident a solution will be coming forthwith.

Assuming you can make calls to all other numbers bar this one, I don't understand what could be any different, unless the number you are dialling is non-standard?

Yes that makes 2 of us, perfectly normal number BTW

When you ring the number, from the phone directly, do you hear anything on the other end or does it automatically disconnect?

 

Quite possible that it's something related to that?

When ringing from phone,1 single ring then hangs up.

When from car immediately goes to the network message"the coustomer you are trying to reach is unavailable........"

could be the incoming line, my wife’s school gate never recognised my previous phones - they had to tinker with the settings of the receiver. Worth a punt speaking to the gate keeper?
