Mystery wire

Featured Replies

Took the front grill off to see horn but could not get to it , however looked on other side and behind the spot light there is a cable dangling down with a connector on it. Any idea what that is for?.

Is it the Outside Temperature sensor ?

Don’t suppose you got a picture

FYI piccy of the ambient temperature sensor on the left-hand side of my car (07 pre-FL Octy 2). Normally plugs into a cutout in the dlr blanking plate.

Another FYI; piccy of the lehd hand front of my sorenoseocty with the wing, headlamp bracketry and bimper removed.

You can see the horn mounted low down to the side of the left-hand front chassis member.

My wire is just hanging loose and I seem to have different opening to yours.

Your bumper is different as it’s a face lift mk2
