Hi everyone, I’m brand-new to the site and wondered if you could help me out. I have a 1.9 TDI PD Fabia  Eastate and I’m looking to smarten her up. I know there is a lot of positive and a negative comment on this but I was hoping you could tell me how to get to the owl noise on my car? As far as I can gather it’s a De cat but is it just the de cat alone  what do you need the rest of an up rated exhaust system as well?  Also is there any other hints and tips anyone can give me for smartening my car up? I’m not looking to do much just hopefully get to the noise I’m after, lower the suspension And stick a decent set of wheels on to make it look nicer for now. Any idea which wheels will fit? I’m looking for 16s. Thanks a lot guys, Craig

dont think the owl noise is possible on the pd100 as it doesn't have a variable vane turbo. think its a wastegated design 

 

What about if I put a vrs turbo on it because I can get my hands on a cheap one...or would it not fit straight on?

IIRC for the actuators - one is vacuum for boost off, the other is vacuum for boost on.  Could be completely wrong though!
