It broke on the driver's door.

Bought one on the bay.

I can see where the cable goes in to the mechanism but not investigated any further.

 

Can it be fitted without removing the lock mechanism from the door?

The short outer one?

 

I doubt it, iirc it has to hook through it and i dont think there enough wriggle room

 

Also, for godsake mark how threads there are on the outside end before you swap and then test it before you close the door...

no the long one to the lever.

I cant remember if that one is reachable, tbh...
