Citigo Sat Nav

Featured Replies

I am looking at buying a Citigo and not sure about which models actually had the sat nav as standard and which have it as an optional extra?! I am looking at cars from 2012 upto to 2015. Some have it fitted, others have the connections for it. I read a buyers guide somewhere that said make sure it’s there, but I don’t know enough about the different models to say it should definitely have one when negotiating to buy a particular car. I did a quick search and a new one seems to sell for @£180. I have a fixed budget so want to get as much car for my money as I can! Thanks.

As far as I'm all Skoda Citigos before the face-lift were pre wired for the unit. The elegance or SEL models had them as standard, there have been a some special editions which may have had them fitted as well. A lot of the VW Up! models did NOT have the pre-wiring for the Sat-Nav, and I have no idea about the Seat Mii.

If buying second hand - a lot of people pinch things like the sat nav unit or 'loose' them along with other bits like spare wheel/locking nut tools and tyre inflation kits unfortunately. So you need to make sure that the car has them before handing over your cash.

The Sat-Nav really isn't anything special as a Sat-Nav unit, the Bluetooth and media functions along with the trip computer are more useful though.

This only applies to the UK market, Citigos in Cyprus that I saw did not have the removable cover.

Fair enough -but I thought safe to assume this is was UK specific query given OP's location
