Cruise control not working after mfsw retrofit

Hi all, I retrofitted a mfsw to my pre fl octi and all was well, but I cannot get the cruise control to work despite playing with coding etc.

I keep getting the code below that tells me the stalk is defective, it was working fine until the fit. Here is an autoscan....

Any help welcomed, and thanks in advance for anyone who can shed some light on this issue! Cheers!!!

Take it apart and clean the contacts, 5 minute job.

My cruise control was working fine (after contact cleaning) until I fitted a remapped ECU this week, it needed coding for the function, working again now.

I'll try it, but it is something I use everyday and had no issues with it until the mfsw fit, then it just pinged up the fault code of it being defective. Also the mfsw I fitted is exactly the same octi 2 wheel but with buttons and the two buttons to the far left are for the cruise control aren't they, originally? Correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry but I have no experience of a MFSW and like so many acronyms on this forum I have no idea what one is or what it means.

@J.R. - MFSW = Multi Function Steering Wheel

@wig - have you got an autoscan from before you fitted the MFSW and a picture of which wheel you've fitted?

I don't Langers, but I know all the faults that were present prior to the swap, and cruise control was not one of them if that's what you were thinking?

Did that previous autoscan help anyone? Or has it raised more questions than answers? Any help with this would be great, I need to get it sorted while I have the time. Cheers good folk!!

I would probably have gone 0000132 as you have the MFSW. Not sure if you have maxidot as I'm not super familiar with pre-fl part numbers.

I'd also try using the measuring blocks to see if any position for the cruise control works.

Hey all, Managed to get under my partners car at the weekend to service it and change the oil. Whilst there I was quite taken by how clean the engine was, but there was a patch of what looked like oil on the undertray. This was later discovered to be coming (I believe) from the gearbox drain plug. The car has had a new clutch, flywheel and replacement box in the last twelve months and so I can only assume there's an issue with the drain plug or a seal. Looking really closely at the drain plug

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!
