Slots

Featured Replies

Anyone who knows what these slots are for? One each side by the rear seats in the side panel.

It's to store the seat bealt buckles when the seats are folded down. Just push the 'tab' of the buckles into the slots to keep the seat bealts out of the way.

I have tried to push the tongue of the seat belt into the slot but I cannot see how it is secured

Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit in there very well it just kind of sits in the slot, unlike other cars where this is a friction fit and holds the buckle tightly in place.

If you put the buckle tab in the slot and then play with the seat belt so that it’s not pulling the buckle back out it will just sit there. Not a brilliant bit of design I’m afraid.

I must admit I don't bother using it because it's a bit of a pain in the backside to get the buckle to sit properly.
