Coat hook

Featured Replies

Anyone else noticed that using the factory coat hook on the b pillar obscures the view when doing a shoulder check? Stupid place to put it imho.

Having the Sportline means I can’t buy/use the headrest mounted hanger.

Looks like I’m going to have to look like a tramp in meetings with a crumpled up jacket!

Plenty of hooks in boot area?

Or do a Steve Jobs...

Use the hook on the passenger side or lay your jacket on the back seat.

I was going to suggest this but I have a mk II and presumed that they must have saved 12p by not having one at either side.

not wanting to sound rude - but u should b posting this in the mk2 superb forum instead.

if u had a mk3, then u could've used the passenger side hook, or get a smart holder - thus allowing u to plug in a hook, or coat hanger......like i did.

Can’t use either with the Sportline seats

It’s a pain in the bum to walk round to the passenger side every time to collect my jacket, so backseat looks like the best option although as I said earlier, it will no doubt get creased and I’ll end up looking like a tramp.

Havent used the hook in the Superb, but I did have the problem with previous Passats.

I didnt think it would be an issue with the Superb, as I can’t get the seat back far enough to look behind the pillar.

I was waiting for that reply......

Park the car with the passenger side towards your destination doorway, you will be passing the passenger door on your way in. Collect your jacket on the way in and then on the way out you can hang your jacket up before you get in the car.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy...... B)
