Hello!

I have a 1997 Skoda Felicia Combi LXI. The gear shifter is very sloppy and I can't figure out how to fix it. I recorded the issue, please watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxxJ0e32AX8

 

I've understood that new bushing can make a huge difference, but the problem seems to be where the linkage goes into the gearbox, meaning the little "cube" in the video (don't know the name of it)? How do I attatch it properly? Or is it something with the gear shifter itself?

 

I would Really appreciate so help in the right direction.

It is whole bag of snakes you are opening right now

The  felicia has a bushing seal gaitor thingy that is responsible for that but it is different regarding on the year face-lift or not
