What bulbs are people using to replace the sidelights with Lee's and not get an error? Can i turn off the warning using Obdeleven?

What model of Octavia are you fitting them to?

just checked your profile. If it’s a vRS just deactivate them altogether using OBDeleven. That’s what I did. Then the LED bar takes the DRL and sidelight functions.

The bulbs in my car are just a generic cree led 501 bulb.

BUT!!!! The one thing to be aware of is the hole which you push the bulb into isn't wide. A lot of led bulbs which a lot of diodes on are too big and won't fit.

This one works very well, my first set lasted more than 150k km then I bought the same again.

Coding not needed so it's just a simple swap.

Much brighter than the regular T10 bulb and provides homogeneous light.

Even the bulb out warning came on when one of the old LEDs failed. :)

Thanks for that, looking at the options you can set the ECU to accept an LED bulb. I guess that would mean any LED would work without an error?

Yes, once it’s set. I had mine set to LED but one blew so when waiting for another pair to arrive from China I coded them off

LED’s look good though :)

Hi, this is to turn OFF side lights bulbs,

If anyone is looking for dash error free coding, if you install LED bulb, you need to change coding to:

(1)-Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9-Lasttyp 16 to 6 - LED Lichtmodul
(1)-Leuchte17TFL R BLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3-Lasttyp 17 to 6 - LED Lichtmodul
