Timing kit and water pum FAI AUTOPARTS

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

Let me introduce myself ... My name is Ignacio and I own a fabia vrs mk2. It's been almost 3 months since I started giving headaches, it's a very delicate car. Lately, I have failed the chain kit with wear on its pinions and water pump. The original parts are high cost he looks for alternatives and finds a distribution kit brand FAI AUTOPARTS and the water pump with magnetic clutch of the same brand .... Does anyone have any reference of this brand?

They are easily googled and seem to be a reputable brand. Check yourself online to make sure you get the correct components and are happy with the parts. Oh, and they have a queens award... Not sure what for but they have one!

ello friends! Thank you. just have the kit of the chain with its parts I will upload an image, also buy the water pump with magnetic clutch of the same brand as the chain kit (FAI autoparts). We'll see how it works ... apparently it's a good option and much cheaper than the original parts. I chose this brand since I could see on their page that they are English and have awards for quality. in case someone will need more information do not hesitate to contact me

Often, manufacturers such as this make the parts for VW and then they get the VW logo, along with a tripling of the parts price.

Friends!
finally repair my car .... change the complete distribution kit, including the vvt pinion and also change the water pump, which was the fault that made the engine sound like a field tractor.
I wanted to give as a fact that when the mechanic disarmed the original distribution, behind the pinions came out that it was made in China.
so do not worry about buying spare parts from other sources.
