Hi all, been toying with a few different things for the furb and now have seen some nice looking alloys and managed to find a configuration tool on the web so i can "put the wheels on the car" really was quite useful, was just wondering if anyone had seen any decent looking after market alloys on a VRS? (apart from MrBurdons of course). Heres one of the pics i "configured" let me know what you think guys.. oh and obviously the wheel sizes may be off because i had to try and make them the same size myself.. look forward to a few opinions.. and its got the gigaros on at the momentum..

Cant you get some of the Passat, scirocco type wheels.

i do actually like the scirocco wheels.. but just as these things are happening my mrs announces her bran new scirocco is arriving tomorrow with the fancy wheels on..!! 

 

Glad you think so Otaylor!! i really like them and i do think they will definitely agree with the car.. i think theyre just more exciting than the gigaros to be honest.. each to his own though!!

I got mine from circumference wheels who imported them from germany straight to my home!

i think for the moment ive decided against some.. just as because where i live they have an addiction with salt.. i do live in a town where most of the people work in salt mines so its only fair but i just think over the internet they would be eaten up by the salt.. them black ones look niiiiiice!!

Yep i have the black polished ones they r nice but hard to keep clean! Ill be using winter wheels soon!

what are you using for your winters Geo?

16" dotz 5 spokes with winter goodyear tyres.

I havent had the chance to test the winter tyres due to the past 2 winters being pretty mild up here in ayrshire

yeah they were quite mild in Margaret river too in Aus  :p . but yeah my oldies said they had it pretty good here too.. got cold now tho.. They costly if you dont mind me asking?

Looking at cost and everything else.. do you think winters are worth it because of buying the new alloy etc.. 

They cost me 450 with out tyres. Which i thought was pretty gd! And yeah where i cum from the salt on the roads is horrendous. So changin them for winters protectes them some what.
