Hey guys,

I'd like to remove multi function buttons as on photo one, from steering wheel from picture 2. Any idea how to do it? I can't see any screws and the plastic cover feels fragile, do not want to push too much.

AFAIK, you just pull the glossy plastic surround away and it reveals the screws for the buttons. I’ve never had to try and do it on mine, but I might have to when I change the steering wheel for a new one soon and I imagine it’ll probably be fragile.

Ok, thank you I will try that. 

It was connected with fragile, plastic bolts. I used screw driver to go around it and managed to pull the plastic panel.

Hi All

My switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel has come loose. Do I just prise the chrome/black plastic surround away to tighten the screws? Is there any chance of triggering the air bag?

In what way loose? If it's coming away from the wheel just push it back in place. From memory the buttons are clipped to the black gloss section that runs round the bottom of the airbag. 

If you need to remove them try searching YouTube for airbag removal then the buttons just pull away from the wheel so you can see where they need repair.

I need to change one of the switches, is it helpful to remove the airbag or is it totally unnecessary?

To remove the set of buttons you have to remove the airbag. If just one button? Dunno. Maybe you can remove a single button.

The left side of my steering will controls  buttons are shaking  broken and i want to replace them . Are the same one at Octavia 3, Kodiac, Karok, Superb, Rapid  ? Have   same shape , form and fits perfect as original one  those i wish buy i found on Aliex/

I would like just to replace the the case  and fix the problem , I attach the one i foud on allliexpresss.
