Goodyear Eagle F1 mileage?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Had car in for service yesterday, and while I'm not due for tyres yet,the service report with tread depths on my current tyres always gets me thinking about what I would/should replace them with, when I'm due?

Current tyres are the factory fit Pirelli P7's,which I don't really have any issue with, other than being a bit noisy. However,I keep reading about Goodyear Eagle F1's being a quiet tyre,so possibly thinking of these when I'm due?

My question is,what sort of mileage are people getting from these before replacement? My Pirelli's are on 17k now, with 5mm up front and 7mm at the back,so not wearing too bad. But if I can get quiet tyres that last well, then that's perfect for me.

Any replies much appreciated.

I've done 28,000 on mine Eagle F1 tyres with around 2.5mm remaining. Can't speak highly enough of them, still great grip considering the wet conditions at the moment..
