Hi am a possible Skoda fabia 2005 owner if anyone can advise me on how i can attach a roof box to a model without roof bars or fixings? Has anyone had any good experience of any of the fixings which come to the top of the doors that i see on Ebay? I had a V reg model and it lasted for years but we never needed to have a roof box! Any recommendations and ill buy the car tomorrow!

Yes i dont think this is robust enough for the long journeys i want to do with a roof box? Thanks does anyone else have experience of the claw fitting type?

If you look on your roof you'll see little plastic trapdoors in the trim that fills the gutters either side, if you click these open you can fit the correct roof rails securely.

I have Thule, they're designed for the Fabia 1 and fit very securely.
