LED light kit for the boot

Featured Replies

I've just bought an Octavia VRS and I have noticed the light in the boot is next to useless, I would like to get an LED kit for in there if they are available, can anybody advise what to get and where from, N.B I'm not into modifications for the VRS just keeping it big standard so haven't got a clue what I'm looking for

I got a set of leds 30 grouped in sets of 3 (10 lamps with 3 leds in each ) all connected together and with sticky backs to stick wherever wanted. (ebay 4.99 or so ) Because of the wiring in a citroen van  I had to run a separate feed from the fuse box.

I don't know if they will run off the boot light feed in an Octavia but they are low in power but bright in light.

As above, probably best idea...... on my MK1 and MK2, manually soldering in LED strips and boxes like the one erindad linked are the only way to get any useful, bright lighting in the boot.
