Steering wheel cover?

Is it possible to find a cover that looks nice and not childish?  Any recommendation? I just find the original lacks grip. Simply, functional, grip, low profile, leather?.....

Hi hirez, I suppose it depends on how long  you have the car that makes for lack of grip. You might find something reasonable in Halfords.  What I do to avoid lack of grip and remove any sign of  shine on it is to give it a good wipe with a wet chamois every time I wash the car and leave it to dry.

Or use matt interior wipes or personal hygiene wipes. If your steering wheel tends to get shiny then clean it more often. External covers , I remember fitting a lace -on leather cover in the 1970s  to a Triumph 2000 Mk2. Without power steering and a thin wheel ,it made quite a difference.

I use driving gloves, they give a good grip and it is easier to wash gloves than a steering wheel if necessary.

The car is about two weeks old. So the wheel is still pristine. Its hard vinyl and has no texture I think is the problem.

My steering wheel is not made from hard vinyl. Mock or real leather, as was my Mk2 Octavia. Strange.
