2007 Octavia no power to cigarette lighter socket on central trunk

Featured Replies

Title says it all, really. Auxiliary socket in the boot (estate) works fine.

Does the socket in the car (by the gearstick) have its own fuse?

I don't have an Octavia (yet) but I have had 2 A4s which are the same platform, and this did have a fuse specifically for that socket. If you google the fuse diagram it should tell you.

Auxiliary socket in the boot is supplied by fuse 26 (20amp)

socket in the car (by the gearstick) is supplied by fuse 24 (25amp) red/white wire.  the brown wire is earth. the grey/blue wire is fore illumination.

hope this info is of use.
