Thats what I originally thought until I heard someone mention GT40, stupid question but whats the difference ? Was the old one reffered to as that ? ;)

The original was referred to as the GT40 but it was never called this officially by Ford themselves AFAIK,.I'm sure somebody will come along now to put me in my place:rolleyes: :rofl:

The GT40 is called so, because it was 40inches tall. the new one is only called GT as a tribute to the original!!!;)

i heard that they are not going to make anymore of the GTs because they will fail the latest crashtests in america and that ford has already pencilled the factory in which they r built to be closed to save money:thumbdwn: :(

The thing I like the most about the old GT40 was the colour scheme of the Gulf racing models. This has given me a cunning plan !
