Neighbours with Karoq

Does anyone else have a next door neighbour that’s copied you?

I doubt that any of my neighbours will copy me after they've observed me kangarooing down the drive. I've explained to them that it's not a 'safety issue', it's a 'dodgy characteristic'.

My 3 neighbours drive Audi A4 saloon 67 plate, BMW 420D Coupe 68 plate and BMW 520D Touring on a 66 plate so not much chance they will trade down to a SKODA, even though mine has at least 150bhp more than all three of their PRESTIGE models.:notme:

Hi Massi

I like your Karoq badge on the front wing and door. Have you put that on? if so where did you get it?

Cheers

Many of my neighbours drive Audi/BMW/MB......most of them have ticked the indicators option too....but not all!

Is that the option that includes the automatic flashing headlights when they come up fast behind you on dual carriageways and motorways?

Ordered from Aliexpress.   See below link.   Believe they are actually std on cars sold in China.   Very easy to put on - just take a moment to get them lined up properly.

After seeing how bulletproof and totally reliable my MK1 Octavia TDi Estate was over a decade my UK neighbour bought an identical coloured MK2 Facelift Estate, 140hp 6 speed for towing his caravan, he did a lot of homework and bought the latest and lowest mileage example that he could without a DPF, I'm not convinced the 2.0 TDi will prove to be the best choice but after a couple of years he is still delighted. I live in France but return often to the UK home, had same neighbours for 30+ years.

After driving and liking his MK2 Facelift when it was time to let my 350000 mile MK1 go I copied him and bought an identical colour again low mileage 2006 1.9 105hp TDi needing a little work but next to no money spending for a fraction of what he paid for his.

I am still using the touch up paint pen that I bought in 2005 :D genuine Skoda and good quality back then as neither the base coat or the laquer has dried out.
