Hi,

I know color coded grilles have been mentioned a few times on here. But have there ever been pictures of it? If yes, where can i find them, i would prefer a silver one. I have searched the forums without results.

Also i would like to make my Fabia MINE, by that i mean with subtle mods, nothing fancy or barry. Do you have any ideas? And it should be pretty easy and not too expensive.

So far i have the following in mind:

- Color coded front grille

- Make red stripes in the white areas of the rear lights, much like the Octavia has.

Almost anything can be used, even if the mod is very well known in the UK i would be interested. I live in Denmark, and the Fabia isn`t especially popular amongst young people, so 99.9% of all Fabia`s are standard.

Ok, thanks Jason. I`ll ask some scrappers about a good deal on a front grille, and see what i come up with.

Ideas for further mods are still welcome though.

Hmm, ok. Looks good on a black car.

My concern is that on a silver car, the chrome and black in the grille, helps split the front, so it doesn`t look big, or stupid. But i think that the black part of the grille on mine looks out of place, so maybe chrome or color coded.

I think i will have a go at the original grille. Is it something i can do myself with a ok result?

And Mil, that is to Barry for me. I want my lights to actually work. :-)

Arrrg, damn, just got a price on a used grille, around 70 pounds, for a USED one! What the hell have they been eating. I might as well buy a NEW custom grille, or just use the original.

Yeah ok, excuse my english then, lets say; "I want the best light possible from my headlights, so a mod like that isn`t for me". :-)

But have thought about making tinted lines around the headlights. Someone else on the forum have done this, but its on a black fabia, and mine is silver, so.

Mil > Hehe, dont like the eyebrows. But i don´t know if i can get through MOT with tinted headlights. But as for now it must wait. The weather is windy/cold/rainy at the moment, so no painting or other outdoor fiddeling yet.

As for now i have got myself 16" alloys with 205/45/16 tyres. And im looking into getting the lowering done, i might have found someone who can do it at a good price.

I asked a local dealer about a price on eibach springs, i was qouted 800-1000kr, that is around 80-100 pounds, incl. VAT. That seems rather cheap, or?
