My new Karoq.

Featured Replies

It's automatic 1L petrol . Got already two sided boot mat. Will get soon rear bamper protector.

Big question is about radio and roof rails.
To activate smart link I need contact dealer? Is it worth it?
And can I order roof racks/rails?

Thanks...

I think you maybe should have considered ordering the roof rails as a factory-fit extra cost option (€150) - Jumta reliņi melnā krāsā - at the time you first ordered through your dealer.

Everyone's opinion will vary on SmartLink.

My wife likes it for Apple CarPlay with her iPhone. I tried Android Auto once, but found it cumbersome and slow to respond.

I liked MirrorLink, but it only works whilst the car is stationary, so again, I've never used it...

I'm android user, songs I can listen with Bluetooth love that...

Thinking about navigation.... Will Chek with dealer

@Rudzitis If you're still intent on fitting roof rails, you should check out the availability of the parts and prices at your dealer. You might be better advised to consider arranging the actual fitting through a good bodyshop rather than your local dealer.

In Latvia, this might be a better link for you to investigate (at least without language and currency conversion) - Thule seem to a highly recommended manufacturer:

SmartLink cost 270 EUR

Does it worth it? It cost 270 to activate on swing.
