Feel free to talk me into/out of this, tell me why it can't be done, why I'm a complete idiot, or agree with me that the best ideas happen when you're half a case of beers down between Christmas and New Years....

 

I've had this idea kicking around for a while of having a Roomster for a work vehicle to replace my mk2 caddy. That's a sensible enough idea, but that's a bit too easy for me....

 

What are my options for modding one? I've got a big heap of bits, literally a whole car minus the shell, including an ASZ and 6 speed box, off my 2003 Ibiza that got the rot. It was basically a mk1 Fabia VRS mechanically. Appreciate the Roomster is more Mk2 Fabia.

 

We've also got a 2k caddy that's pushing 160bhp, so I'm fairly comfortable in modding the 105hp PD, but 1.9TDI roomy's seem to hold their value. Anyone converted a petrol to a PD?
