I wonder if you can help ? My sister has an 07 roomster and the bootlid is stuck shut Is there anyway that you can pop it open from the inside? Like an emergency release? 

Emergency boot unlock on page 35 in manual.

Awesome! Thanks but you were two seconds late ! Just as I got a ping to say message I’d got the lid open :-) thanks anyway, now I’ve fixed it she’s part exing it for a rapid 

Does it now open electrically without the manual intervention?

 

Yeah, I had to replace the latch but all working like a dream
