Hi folks,

Newbie here.

I moved back to Melbourne in Oz in October last year and I'll be picking up a 2019 Kodiaq Sportline in a month or so.

I used to have a 2017 Octy Diesel VRS in the UK previously and I loved it.

At the moment I don't have a car and its a very sad situation!

Public transport is actually pretty good for getting around the city. There are free trams in the main parts and it's pretty cheap. Otherwise it's also ok if you live in the burbs but near a train station.

Luckily I don't need a car for work and I live 2 mins walk from the station. Still sucks though not being able to just hop in and go for a drive. I'm itching to get down the Great Ocean Road again!

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Having trouble trying to find out what size the brake disks are on the front of my 21 plate fabia estate automatic. Hard to see the callipers through the wheels but have added photos through the rims car has 16" wheels and I can share vin number if anyone can find out using that

I have been looking around for a basic cheap run around - automatic - but witout much success. There is a 2002 Fabia 1.4 16V Classic 5dr forr sale near me. £2700 (which is overpriced I feel) with 66500 miles on the clock and it says 1 previious keeper. Am I mad to be considering a 24 year old car? I just missed out on a 2013 fabia though I was worried about the DSG gearbox. I used to have sometime ago a 2003 Skoda fabia and loved it. But I'm worried about taking on such a old car. I m
