Hello from a newbie

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Newbie here.

I moved back to Melbourne in Oz in October last year and I'll be picking up a 2019 Kodiaq Sportline in a month or so.

I used to have a 2017 Octy Diesel VRS in the UK previously and I loved it.

At the moment I don't have a car and its a very sad situation!

Hello banda welcome to the Skoda forum good to have you with us . enjoy your new Kodiaq .B)

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Sorry you don't have a car.  What's the public transport like there?  Always wanted to visit and may do so one day if they'll let me in:giggle:

Public transport is actually pretty good for getting around the city.  There are free trams in the main parts and it's pretty cheap.  Otherwise it's also ok if you live in the burbs but near a train station.

Luckily I don't need a car for work and I live 2 mins walk from the station.  Still sucks though not being able to just hop in and go for a drive.  I'm itching to get down the Great Ocean Road again!
