Mp3 mixed files

Featured Replies

A quick question folks ,ive done a search but cant find what ime looking for ,does anyone know of a programme to make a folder of mixed tracks rather than just albums ,that the car will recognise as one folder rather than splitting up into individual tracks ,i know its down to the tagging or changing the properties but ime getting old now and ive forgot how to do it lol.  Thanks in advance folks

Are the songs on an SD card, if so create a folder on the SD card via your laptop /PC and then put the tracks within that folder .... that's exactly what I do with mine

I use a USB and haven’t come across this issue.

On the PC I create folders and subfolders if necessary and then add the individual songs.

have you tried right clicking on the song to pull up its details in the “get info” tab on iTunes? Media player should also enable you to change the ‘album’ details to something like ‘mix’

There is a way to set a random play all (shuffle) from the top level of displaying all tracks on a card or usb stick. Not quite the same as a random play list I know, but it's what I do to have a selection of different stuff.

You need to use a program like mp3tag and amend the metadata for the files.

If you change the album name for your mix of tracks to something like "mix album 1" it will place all the tracks under one album like your others
