Well I've had the golf a month and time to start adding my personal touches as I did with the old fabia so here they are for anyone interested (perhaps ur 2nd car is a golf??) i dunno look if you care lol!!

next some alloys from within the VAG group.... i might actually be fitting the octy elegance ones as brake upgrades are definiatly a must for mum's car now and we are probs going to be fitting vRS alloys to octy with front and rear bumpers/spoilers.... but thats another story!

Also after a GTi interior for the golf.

U'll have to watch this space but there are a lot more mods due on golf than i ever did on fabia & once again (except the blue lights ) they will all be 'tasteful'

Hope you find a good use for everything which i'm sure you will. Oh and i've found some little plastic clips i nicked off my fabias roof beofre it was taken... if you want them to go with your new roof bars incase you lose the others down to fabias only poor design fault.

agreement from powers that be above (parents) about the octy.... but we are trying to go down the 4x4 vRS route hence getting vRS bits. looks awsome on them though

Okey dokey, note though that VRS rims are et35 iirc, off the top of my head i think they'll stick out a further 13mm but that should be OK.

I've just moved the other way - from a GT TDi Golf to a vRS Octavia.

I've got some virtually brand new TT Wheels (16") ones I was going to fit to the Golf but didn't get round to it. They've literally got delivery mileage only on. They're ET31, which is too much for the Octy, but is apparently ok for a golf (which is why I bought them).

Give me a shout if you're interested - they're about 30 miles from me at the moment in my garage, so I can't give you any more details, but I think they're Pilot Primacy tyres.
