just wondered what bulb does the DRL take and how do you get the grill off to change it

Is it actually "the bulb" anyway? I've seen a number of cars with DRL issues that trace to the CANBUS.

1. There is no need to shout.
2. I have seen cases where only one DRL was out, and the issue proved to be CANBUS and not the luminaire before.
3. You're the one who's asking for help.
