How do I replace the rear windscreen washer pipe?

Featured Replies

I can hear a loose clip under the plastic cover in the boot. I want to get under the plastic bit to replace the pipe. I don't want to break anything though so I was wonder are there any screws etc to remove or is it just a case of brute force.

As you can tell I'm not exactly a mechanic :P.

Prize it off around the edges and you'll hear the clips popping off.

It's a bit of a bugger to get back on though!

Agreed - I've had a loose pipe once or twice. Start to pull off the cover from near the boot release and work your way around gradually. The clips are attached to the cover and you will need to make sure that any loose ones are slid back into their position securely before trying to fasten it back together.

Try to avoid pulling the whole cover off, as it is really tricky once you get as far as the trims which surround the window.

Oh - and don't forget to make sure the internal boot pulley is put back through the slot. ;)
