Featured Replies

hi, to all, sorry if my english is bad.

i recently bought octavia 1.4 tsi mk3  and i.m very happy till now

today i realized that when i turn on the heat, i can hear a fan noise. i think behind the glove box.

can i change this fan ? is it easy? is it expensive?

do you have the entertainment headunit in the glove box too?

I can hear the fan from the Columbus in my glovebox when it is open. (coming from the part where you plug the SD-cards)

Hi. No I don't have the entertainment unit. This fan starts when I turn on the heat. Maybe it is for the recycle I suppose

the air filter is behind the glove box, you might have debris or leaves caught in it rattling/vibrating around when you turn the fan on. Take it out and give a blow out with some compressed air etc

Ok I love try to check it .I suppose it is easy to remove the glove box.

Although I think that fan has the problem. I had the same issue with my previous Peugeot car and I had to remove the whole dash to replace this fan
