Cleaning vRS seats...

Featured Replies

D'oh! Spent this afternoon helping a mate take change the cylinder head on his Mini.

Washed up (or so I thought!) and drove home, only to leave an oily smudge on my driver's seat as I got out. Must have missed a bit

It's the only mark I've made. What's the best stuff to clean it off with? I don't want to rub too hard and bobble the seats.

Thanks! :)

PS: Tried the search with no luck - there is a time limit between searches?  WHY?

I used carplan foam upholstery cleaner from ASDA. Cost about £5. Did a good job on coffee and Irn-Bru stains. Not so sure about oil and grease but cheap enough to be worth a try. Good luck

VAX AAA Carpet and Upholstry Cleaner from B&Q or Halfords, with a VAX Spot Scrubber.
