Right guys and girls, as my 2.0 PD TDi Scout has now hit 178k miles i was wondering how long these DPF's actually last. 

So what's the highest miles anyone has actually had out of a DPF? Answers on a postcard (or in this post below) appreciated.

some of the old PD engines did not have DPf's fitted , like the BKD

All PD skoda scouts have the BMM pd 8 V engine with DPF.

Yep, it's a 2008 BMM engine, definitely has a DPF

169000 here still going strong, but I do clean my yearly by removing the o2 sensor and filling it up with dpf cleaner then take it for a blast after an hour of sitting in there.
