Park Assist Error

Featured Replies

Yesterday I have a 'Park Assist Error' come up indicating a problem with the front sensors on my R - am hoping that this might still be relevant to Octy owners and that some knowledgeable person can help identify the problem, the scan:-

I have looked on the Ross Tech site and can find no info to help. I am hoping that the code might indicate which sensor has failed.  The radar cruise still works as do the rear camera and sensors.

Any help/guidance would be appreciated

When I had a front left centre sensor fail the detailed fault code shown in module 10 showed exactly which sensor was faulty, try doing a scan of just module 10.

That's just a gateway installation list...

You need to post a full unedited autoscan :)

Check the wiring to/from the front left centre sensor.

You might also want to try swapping that sensor for another to see if the fault moves :)

Interesting... that's the same sensor (Front Left Centre) that failed on my Octavia last year.

When I got it replaced under warranty the dealer sent me a photo of the sensor which clearly showed where a stone had hit the sensor.
