Featured Replies

Chinese multimedia is not in plan for know...so I would like to upgrade Bolero with RVC.

Somebody had any experience? I recieved as a present from my friend the camera wit LED light in the place of licence plate light.

But i need the adaptor, something like this

First I must take out my bolero, and see the rear side, and also to see the software version.

I am pretty sure it is compatibile.

Rear sensor are so cool, but sometimes I need the extra 20 cm, so RVC is a must..

Pretty sure there is no video input on the Bolero as fitted to a MK2 FL Superb...

I'm pretty sure that was posted here and you're right about the facelift Mk 2. If I remember correctly, its the Superb Mark 3 Bolero that next got the required 26 pin connector.

@djordje48 can always check for the 26 pin connector when he pulls it out to check his software version....

A MK2 FL with a Columbus (RNS-510) or some Amundsen+ (RNS-315) will have a 26 pin connector used for a RGB reversing camera amongst other things.

The MK3 doesn't have the 26 pin connector, instead the composite reversing camera connections are part of the 52 pin quadlock :)

TheRobinK: do you mean because of some special Bolero version, or superb, or superb FL?

I saw this and it gave me hope...

If you read the youtube comments, you'll see that's not a stock Bolero.

They've added a 3rd party PCB to give it both GPS and reverse camera functionally, link: https://car-solutions.com/en/gps-navigation-module-for-rcd510-delphi.php

You'd need to check if it is compatible with your headunit.

Thanks! Now I see...so I should quit this sh... and go to chinese multimedia...

This is what I am afraid: the chinese from audiosources really kicks ass and worked for 5 years on my mk2 fabia but bass sound was catastrophic in comparison to OEM swing. Treble was excellent, the navi IGO excellent, touch screen extreme fast. But I am afraid i will loose sound quality and I dont want to put woofer like I did in fabia...
