Mk1 vrs

Featured Replies

Hello all

Straight away.....I'm not sure where to place this so if I'm in the wrong area, please forgive me and point me to the correct place.

I run an Octavia vRS 230, my daughter runs a mklll Fabia Monte Carlo, my old one actually.

What she wants is a mkl Fabia vRS.

She wants it as a project but not ground up, that said she wants a cheap one. She scours ebay all the time and as much as sometimes there is a gem on there a lot of the time i think the vRSs are a bit....questionable.

Does anybody have any advice, or know anyone selling one that is a respectable car even though it may need a bit of work, preferably a good engine but brakes, suspension, all the bits that can be easily replaced don't need to be up to scratch. As i said she wants a rebuild project.

She found one on ebay with a long list of issues which could very well be a good project but id rather ask supporters of the marque before buying from auction sites. I'd feel happier knowing the car wasn't a total loss before starting. That said, i don't wish to offend people selling on ebay, many are reliable sellers.

Hope that all makes sense

Thank you in advance

Neil

Incorrect information

Maybe best in the Mk1 Fabia section if she wants a Mk1 vRS.

Thanks for your help

I see MK1 vrs listed on Facebook there is forum Skoda vrs, join it, folk always advertising mainly MK1  parts or  full cars, most of them are tuned with 100k+ for about £2Kish

  • john999boy changed the title to Mk1 vrs

@Neildon I've altered the title and moved it to the right place.
