Citigo Radio Reception is poor when engine running

Featured Replies

Hi, not sure if this is covered anywhere else on the forum, but when the engine is running we do not get any radio reception at all. Turn the engine off and the radio is fine. Any ideas?

This may be of help. There are other threads if you search on “Aerial “. A bad earth within the aerial system could cause this problem as well.

Thanks Eltezz. The car has warranty so I will go and see them and see if they will sort as they are a small family business and will probably sort it for me.

had this problem from new with my 66 plate citigo. Aerial mounting replaced three times under warranty. gave up trying to get it fixed. Now use DAB tuner via the AUX socket.

Any pics or info on your DAB setup? Like you I have given up on the standard aerial system, complete rubbish.

This is my set up.

Nice little Pure Highway off ebay. Starts up with the ignition, works a treat and doesn't look too bad.
