SDHC card not working with Columbus

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have loaded some mp3 music songs on a SDHC 8GB class 4 format FAT32. When I this in either slot SD1 or SD2 the Columbus doesn't even seem to recognise the card is in the slot. The locked slider on the card is in the unloacked position. Does anyone have any ideas why this is not being recognised?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

did you use a mac by any chance to load the files onto the card?

I use a Mac. Getting the Columbus system to recognise a map upgrade is pretty tricky, but mp3s on a FAT32 SD card is not a problem.

@po07pro I'd try a different card. I've got SDHC cards in both slots and they've never given me a problem. Maybe reformat the card?
