Good evening I am hoping to get some advice.

I am thinking of buying a 2011 Skoda Fabia Greenline 1.2  Estate.

The estate is being offered to me for £2500 it has done 75,000 the road tax is £0.00 and is supposed to do 83mpg, The estate has no advisories on what I can see of its MOT history, the seller says it has a full service history it is moted till 9.1.2020 but requires a service after it has been collected.

I asked at the garage that dose my cars for me normally and was informed that it might be being sold as there is a possibility of it needing the cambelt replaced is hight.

Please can people tell me is this a good price? can I expect it to do the stated mpg? and at what point does it need a new cambelt?

This section is for Fabia 1, 2011 is Fabia 2

@heatherjoy - Meantime, if your prospective car has a service log book, the cam belt is described as "toothed belt", and on 75K that should have been done in the last 15K or is due. Expect to pay ~£350 including a new water pump (that needs the cam belt replacing when it's changed, and usually last ~1.5 times the cam belt interval, so it's actually often cheaper to replace the water pump when the cam belt is being changed anyway (part plus 10 minutes time)).

Which gives you a good bargaining counter if the belt needs doing.
