It is such a pathetic way to “distinguish” between models, items worth a few pounds to justify thousands of £ differences. Car makers wonder why they are being increasingly held in contempt by buyers who are shifting to the on-line sellers to get a better deal.

Most times the things are only going to be pennies not pounds 😕 In the case of the glasses box, I can't believe that they cost more than pennies to make - the manufacturer will have the materials & moulds readily available and every month or so they will make these instead of something else...

 

It’s worse than that as they have to design, make and fit the housing blanking plate for the models where it is not fitted at probably only a few pence less than fitting the case itself.

The glasses box arrived yesterday - had to visit the post office this morning to collect it. Now to fit it...
Plan on using it to store a small LED torch - the sunglasses will just have to rattle around wherever I can find a convenient space 😉

Really is the work of seconds to fit
