Eco tyres fitted to Citigo Greentech

Featured Replies

I went to my Skoda dealership to buy & have fitted a Eco Tyre low rolling resistance tyre to replace a damaged one as fitted to my Citigo Greentech as OE and they'll told me -

They don't stock them.

They only stock the 'Bog Standard' NON Eco Tyres and it would take A WEEK to get me one in!

That's no good from a Skoda Main Dealership!

They should stock the tyre appropriate to the cars they sell you.

I had to 'limp away' a find one elsewhere.

Anybody else had similar experiences in getting the 'Rare' Eco Low Rolling Resitance Tyre from Skoda Dealerships?

It's rather unusual for a car dealership to stock tyres, with most of them ordering them in as required.

You might have had more luck going to a tyre place as they do hold some stock, but realistically ordering one up from blackcircles or similar for local fitting would probably be your best bet

What tyre is it that's fitted?

Bridgestone 185/55 R15 82H ECOPIA

OK, not from your Skoda dealer, but £76 fully fitted from Blackcircles

Why would anyone go to dealer to buy tyres? No one. Dealer knows that and that's why they don't stock them.

My local Skoda and VW dealerships both stock a comprehensive range of tyres.

Maybe somebody called Emile would?

Thank you leckman.

There you are Emile!

Give your head a shake.

Herr Emile!

Read Mr Leckman's reply!

You are incorrect Emile in what you say!

And another thing Emile, if a Person in England wanted a 'Full Size Alloy' to match the OE wheels as fitted to the car when supplied by the dealership, it is common sense in England to enquire at the dealership, as to the cost & availability of the CORRECT TYRE that fits the wheel AS SUPPLIED BY SKODA, seeing as though The Skoda Dealership is supplying the NEW wheel to me.

Even Skoda Citigo owners called Emile would probably do it here, in England!

Is that simple & plain enough for you Emile??

So, perhaps Emile, you wouldn't bother to make enquires, faced with similar circumstances, in the area of the Planet where you live?

If not, that's entirely your business and absolutely NOTHING to do with me!

Good day to you, Sir!

I think that Ronne is simple and plain enough to buy tyres from a dealer. Normal person would not buy Ecopia tyre. Never.

But why you changed subject? Have you ever thought what is different between tyre and wheel?

So speaks the World authority on the design, architecture & performance of Automobile Tyres!

Ladies & Gentlemen I give you - Emile. :music:

I wonder why you are on car forum. Obviously you can't see, read or write. That's why you probably damaged your tyre?

Ronn the troll. Worst I've seen in this forum.

The Emile Character is such a Buffoon, I don't believe 'its' a real person at all, it's a BOT.

An 'Emile Bot'.

No living creature could possible come on my beloved Britskoda forum and talk such drivel.

It's programmed to attack all sensible discussion amongst decent people on the forum site with abuse & nonsense.

Mouse over his username and then choose 'ignore user' from the info that appears.

It's maybe time that people read the Forum Rules to save Staff having to remind people individually!

To avoid confusion, this is Briskoda and not Facebook!

As Johns request fell of deaf ears, I will spell it out for you.

Briskoda isn't, a British, or britskoda site. It's a very common misconception. We welcome everyone from all countries, the theme is Skoda.

Those who enjoy driving briskly, might find themselves on briskoda.

Yes it's UK based and a large number of us are in the UK. But we have a large number on non UK and I welcome the diversity.

Ignore a user or report if breaching the rules and guidelines. They are very simple to comprehend.

Don't be that guy!
