cant see disc size

tape measure at the ready

It's not 340 mm for sure - that's not a size used on the Superb at all. Possibilities are 288, 312 or 345 (the latter being for the V6 only).

It won't give you the disc size, it'll give you the three digit PR code needed to order the right sized discs...

might just go Mr Tyre, wife wont let me touch car after my heart attack

Went to Mr Tyre who were going to check the size, the guy walked outside to the car and back...

"340mm same as Golf......Delphi discs/pads £199"

i think ill check, but i have requested the old discs be left in the car if they do it

I can tell you now that it's not 340 mm. That size will not even fit on your car. I would suggest you find someone competent to do this work before a lot of time and money is wasted.

chimaera is correct - I have a 1.6d - MY 2014 and stock/OEM brakes, The fronts are definitely not 340 mm.

Front discs are PR Code 1ZE and are 288 mm.

Rear discs are PR Code  1KS and are 272 mm.

+1

The 170 only uses 312mm front discs, so the 1.6 won’t be bigger.

1.6 Greenline 2014 and my fronts are 312mm.

Yours are not 340 unless it's had some sort of full non standard caliper and carrier performance upgrade

i may have gotten Mr Tyres comment wrong, he may have said "big ones"

312mm looks likely

The problem with that is the BULK of the 1.6 may have been 288mm but even Europarts list a 312mm option

i may leave them, the fronts were new 2 years/20,000 miles ago
