Superb 2017: Multiple error codes

Featured Replies

A friend went to start their car yesterday at home and encountered multiple fault issues:

Auto Hold is Unavailable

Error:Brake is unavailable. Visit workshop

12V battery low. Charge by driving

Fault:automatic headlight control

Error: cornering light (afs)

Error: tyre pressure loss indicator

Front assist unavailable

Thoughts on any ideas most appreciated.

I'd start with the easy option - charge or change the battery. Never had an issue like this myself, but have read on here that a weak battery can kick up all sorts of problems. There are also threads on a bad batch of batteries on here.

The reason I say this is that the only other thread I remember about multiple faults was caused by rodents eating through wiring - not good.

Cheers Jeff. I've suggested they disconnect the battery for a while then reconnect. If a dodgy battery then it should, in theory, re-appear. I didn't realise there had been a batch of dodgy batteries.

This thread mentions that there were some problems with Moli batteries. It also suggests getting Skoda Assist out (a good idea anyway) as if they confirm a duff battery then the dealer should replace it under warranty.

This is what you don't want it to be.

Thanks again Jeff. Will take a look under the bonnet and it's going into the dealer this week. Will post back.

Cheers
